Tutorial Update: How to Add Images via Media Page

This tutorial came as a bit of a surprise to me when I had a client ask me how could they add a bunch of images to their WordPress site without having to create a post or a page to add images to the site from. The answer was “Oh, that’s easy, let me write you a guide for that,” and the end result was this guide.

This guide shows you how easy it is to add images (or other media) to your WordPress site via the Media option in the backend.

Like most of my tutorials, there are images to help you through the process.

I would like to note: you can add extra images to your media file from posts and pages as well, but if you aren’t creating a post or page and are trying to add images for future use or an image gallery that isn’t through a plugin, this is the easy way to do it.
